Composer
Noa Margalit is a composer and singer-songwriter from Tel Aviv currently based in London. Her recent works include scores for Warsaw Film Festival Grand Prix Nominee 'Song of Goats' (2023), RTS Student Awards winners 'Tremolo' (2023) and 'Casuals' (2023), Student BAFTA shortlisted ‘The Violence Between Us’ (2022) and ‘Harp Song’ (2022), as well as 'Wild Twin', a short for which she was nominated for Best Composer Award at the Underwire Film Festival 2022.
Noa is an alumna of Rimon School of Music, Israel, where she was awarded a scholarship to study Composing, Arranging & Conducting, and of the Composing for Film & Television MA course at the National Film & Television School, UK.
With a background as both a classical arranger and as a performer and artist in her own right, Noa is able to create scores ranging from sensitive stripped back compositions with a raw and authentic edge, to dark gritty electronic tracks to classical orchestration.
An accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Noa uses a blend of her own live recordings and vocals as textures among a wider and unique palette to create music which is original, sensitive, and compelling.
